Ross M. Wilkins, MD, MS

Ross Wilkins MD, MS

Ross Wilkins, MD founded the Institute for Limb Preservation with the late Dr. Tom Arganese in 1989 and now presides as Co-Medical Director for the re-named Denver Clinic for Extremities at Risk. He received a master's degree in cellular biology from the University of Colorado and his medical degree from Wayne State University. Following his postgraduate training at the University of Colorado, he completed a fellowship in orthopaedic oncology at the Mayo Clinic.

In addition to being the senior partner at Colorado Limb Consultants, Dr. Wilkins serves as Medical Director for AlloSource and is an Affiliate Faculty Member at Colorado State University. He is recognized internationally as an expert on limb preservation, bone and soft tissue tumors, and bone transplantation.

Cynthia M. Kelly, MD

Cynthia Kelly MD

Dr. Cindy Kelly has been a member of the Denver Clinic since 1995. She obtained her MD degree at UCLA, graduating with honors and completed her orthopeadic surgery training at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. After completing a fellowship in musculoskeletal oncology at UCLA she relocated to Denver and joined the Denver Clinic for Extremities at Risk. Her areas of interest and expertise are bone and soft tissue tumors, in all age groups, and osteonecrosis (avascular necrosis of bone).

Dr. Kelly is one of a few nationally recognized experts in surgical procedures for the treatment of osteonecrosis. She is a member of the Musculoskeletal Tumor Society and participates in clinical research in the areas of bone and soft tissue tumors.

David B. Hahn, MD

Dr David Hahn

A graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Dr. Hahn earned his medical degree at Case Western University. His orthopaedic residency was completed at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center, and his fellowship at Scottish Rite Hospital in Atlanta, GA.

Dr. Hahn specializes in correcting lower limb deformities caused by malunion, osteomyelitis, and congenital anamolies. He is active in the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society, The Association for the Study and Application of the Methods of Ilizarov, and the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America.

Ronald R. Hugate, MD

Dr Ronald Hugate

Dr. Hugate joined The Denver Clinic for Extremities at Risk and Colorado Limb Consultants after completing a fellowship in orthopedic oncology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He specializes in complex joint replacement and bone and soft tissue tumors. His internship and residency were done at Penn State University after graduating with honors from Eastern Virginia Medical School.

As a Major in the U.S. Army Reserves Medical Corps, he was awarded the Army Commendation Medal for his service at the Combat Surgical Hospital in Baghdad.
